Comments and Recommend
What is "Recommend"
Recommend is like a thumbs up on Facebook, you are simply giving a positive opinion about the girl in question.
How many times can I recommend?
Once, otherwise the recommend system would be made worthless due to single people voting hundreds of times.
How do you know whether I voted?
Firstly, clicking recommend sets a cookie on your browser. The cookie is set to last 1 week only! It means upon returning the recommend button will not be displayed. However, as cookies are simple to clear, your IP is stored in a database table as well. Any subsequent votes are checked against this table to ensure you do not re-vote.
Can I use a proxy to get around it?
Yes, you can. However, doing so will invalidate the system and render it worthless. If no-one believes the recommendations, then it's pointless to keep them. Attempting to falsify votes will do just that... If people do abuse the system, I will disable recommends for that model. In extreme cases, the model will be removed from the database.
What data is gathered when recommending a model?
Each click of the recommend button will add a line to the database, which consists of the IP address and the time.
What are comments for?
Comments allow any user to give their opinion on the model. Please be reasonable. Try to make the comment informative, why should people visit this model? (or why they shouldn't...). A major issue is that people feel comments mean they may post hate, malicious false rumours and worse. Such comments will be removed.
How many comments can I post?
There is a 2 minute time limit on posting repeated comments, but no-one likes spam... A simple rule of thumb - if are commenting on the same model again at any point, but using a different name - then it is spam. Don't post, it may be deleted.
What are the rules for comments?
Very simple - no hate, no racism, no malicious rumours, no being a tool. You are free to say anything good, or bad, as long as it is reasonable, fair, honest and truthful. It is possible to leave a negative comment without resorting to being rude and hurtful. If you can't, don't comment, or don't be surprised if it's removed. There is a small word filter, and any outright hate comments will be removed - so be honest, not horrible.
What is expressly forbidden?
Any posting (or attempting to post) links, or reveal names or personal details, is not allowed. Racism is also not allowed. Anyone coming across such a post is encouraged to report it asap!
What should I do if I see a bad comment?
Nothing, criticisms are equally welcome and valid as positive comments. However, if it's a nasty or irrelevant comment rather than a critical one, please do report it. Whilst opinions are free to be aired, anything that is blatant hate will simply be deleted. This isn't a place for people to rant.
How do I report a comment?
In the bottom right hand corner of each post you will see a grey exclamation mark. Click this, and it will turn red. The comment has now been flagged. If it is already red, it has been previously flagged. If you report your own comment (ip of comment and reporter match) then the comment will be deleted.
What does the grey/red/green triangle mean?
This is the report a post button. Grey means the post has not been reported, whereas red means the post has been reported. Green denotes a reported post that has been checked and found to be acceptable.
What data do you store?
When you make a comment, or report a comment, it logs your IP address.
Can we post emoticons?
Yes, you can use :P :) :D ;) :( during your comment. When the comment is displayed back, those will be replaced by the emoticon.
Can I post images/links
I'm afraid not at this time. As well as the potential XSS threat - I also do not wish spam links posting either!
